RenoProgress is built with privacy in mind. This policy explains, in plain language, what data the app handles and what we do (and don’t do) with it.
RenoProgress stores the information you enter and capture: photos, project names, room and house details, budgets and expenses, materials and product links, contacts, tasks, shopping lists, and any notes you add. This data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database (SwiftData).
If you are signed in to iCloud, RenoProgress uses Apple’s CloudKit service to sync your data to your private iCloud database so it’s available on your other Apple devices signed in with the same Apple ID. This data lives in your iCloud account, governed by Apple’s privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
RenoProgress asks for permission to use your camera and (optionally) photo library so you can capture and import renovation photos. Photos you add to RenoProgress are stored inside the app’s own database; they are not shared with us or any third party.
If you purchase RenoProgress Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We receive an anonymous receipt of the purchase from Apple to unlock Pro features. We do not receive your name, email, payment details, or Apple ID.
RenoProgress is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
You can delete any item, project, room, or house from inside RenoProgress at any time. Deleting the app removes all data from your device. To remove the iCloud copy as well, go to iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → RenoProgress → Delete Data.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, surface the change in the app.
